One of our favorite questions! The Picklebarn offers beginner classes as well as private introductory lessons where you can learn the rules and basics of the game!

Do I have to be a member to play?

No! Everyone is welcome to come play at the Picklebarn! Head to the "Member" tab to see the benefits of becoming a member.

Question 5

Do I need to bring my own paddle or pickleballs?

Accepted Answer

You can rent a paddle and pickleballs at the Picklebarn if you don't own any. Just ask the front desk employee to check them out. The Picklebarn also has a pro shop where you can purchase paddles and balls if you would like.

What type of balls do you suggest to use on the indoor courts at the Picklebarn?

Accepted Answer

Outdoor balls! Since the Picklebarn has the same court surfacing as outdoor courts, we get to use outdoors balls! Outdoor balls will usually have more holes that are smaller compared to the indoor balls with fewer larger holes.
